CamJam 2006 will be held at Huntingdon Racecourse from 6 – 13 August 2006.
As with the previous four CamJam events we will be pleased to welcome Scouters & Guiders onto our staff from across the UK and from Overseas.
This is an exciting new venue for CamJam and as with previous events offers six full days of organised activities for Scouts and Guides under the age of 18.
Staff members will be drawn from a range of backgrounds and recruited to work in such areas as activities, entertainment, first-aid, site services and transport to name but a few. Applicants must be over 18 years of age at the time of CamJam 2006 and hold a Scouting CRB clearance. All applicants are reminded that the work will be physically demanding with long hours but we would hope to ensure that there would be ‘rest days’ during the camp for staff.
Full time staff will not be asked to pay any camp fees. We are fortunate this time to be able to provide indoor catering facilities provided by the Racecourse caterer. The charge for this subsidised service will be £60.00 for the week and will consist of 3 meals per day. You are of course welcome to self-cater if you prefer.
Accommodation: There will be a separate staff sub-camp and limited facilities will be available for those wishing to bring a caravan.
